What Kind of Education Should University Give to Students?

In my counseling room, a lot of students said to me:

“In middle and primary school stage teachers were in charge of too much, too tight! And they took the results concerning heroes, and misled students to study knowledge, and bounded individuality of the student! I went to college, teacher managed too loose. Especially the interactions between teachers and students were too little! Everyone is vacant, easy to lose power and the goal!”

As for education before the university, because of the request of the oriented education, in order to go to good schools, in order to get into a good university, parents of students, teachers and students weight in results and ranking, really is forced to do so, which is also excusable! But in college, when the school and teacher have more initiative and independent authority, still because of convenient management, they also assess increasingly personalized college students through the exams and achievements, which must have education concept problems.

So, when I still can feel too many college students treat study through the scores and rankings, as a college a teacher I am really sad! Also worried!

In view of such feeling, i have many expectations to my own teaching. I am an ordinary teacher, but I love the career, I also love the students. I want to make efforts and practice and advocate with everyone together new concepts of “happy learning, interactive learning, inspiring learning, and experiencing learning “!
